NEWBURYPORT, MA — Ferraz Shawmut is offering an electrical safety seminar on Overcurrent Protection Basics for Designers on October 28th at the Holiday Inn Express in Rosemont, Illinois. This half-day seminar will provide an up-to-date understanding of the key overcurrent protection issues. It will cover current-limiting fuses (basics, curves, types and the UL 248 standard for low voltage fuses), arc flash considerations in an industrial/commercial environment, and short circuit current rating and selective coordination requirements in the NEC® 2008. A certificate of completion (4 instruction hours) will be provided for those needing PDH credits.
