Download Select-A-Fuse Version 4.1

To download and install the software, follow the instructions below. (You may want to print these instructions prior to downloading the software).

Local Installation: Windows® 95 / 98 / NT /ME /XP or 2000:

1. Download the self-extracting archive file called "SAF.EXE" into a temporary directory by clicking on the "Download" button. This file is approximately 1,368kb in size. Note: Some users may need to rename the file "Saf.exe" when downloading.
2. Execute the self-extracting file "SAF.EXE" by double-clicking on it. After the file is uncompressed, there will be a file called "INSTALL.EXE" in the temporary directory.
3. From the Start Menu, choose "Run" and "Browse" to locate the temporary directory. Select and execute the setup program ("INSTALL.EXE") and follow the on-screen instructions to install. Install will create a SAF icon on the desktop. Double click on the Select-A-Fuse icon to start the program.

Network Installation:

1. Download the self-extracting archive file called "SAF.EXE" into a temporary directory by clicking on the "Download" button. This file is approximately 1,274kb in size. Note: Some users may need to rename the file "Saf.exe" when downloading.
2. Execute the self-extracting file "SAF.EXE" by double-clicking on it. After the file is uncompressed, there will be a file called "INSTALL.EXE" in the temporary directory.
3. From the Start Menu, choose "Run" and "Browse" to locate the temporary directory. Select and execute the setup program ("INSTALL.EXE") and follow the on-screen instructions to install. Install will create a SAF icon on the desktop. Double click on the Select-A-Fuse icon to start the program
4. Install will create a Program Group named Ferraz Shawmut and add four icons to the group. Select-A-Fuse will default to C:\GSWIN. After installation on the server, share out C:\GSWIN and create an icon on each user's PC that points to C:\GSWIN share on the server. This icon must point to wsaf32.exe, located on the server.

   Note: If you will be running Select-A-Fuse from a Windows NT PC:
   copy c:\winn\system32\salflibc.dll (located on the server) to the c:\winnt\system32 directory of your local PC.
